Welcome to "The First Baptist Church of Durham Kansas!"

No matter where you are in life’s journey, Jesus loves you and knows your name! (psalms 91:14)

We believe that God loves all of creation (Genesis 1:31) and through Jesus Christ we are brought into fellowship with God (John 1:3). We are a family, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ!

1 Peter 4:8, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

We start the 1st Sunday of every month with communion. (The table of the Lord is opened to all, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

We believe that the Bible is the word of God, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

At each service we gather for meaningful worship to study God’s word. We reach out with the heart of ministry to care for our neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ here and around the world.

We have fun and fellowship in a variety of activities ranging from dinners to sporting events. As we work and worship together we find that our faith grows as we enjoy family and friends old and new.

You will discover many exciting opportunities with this church family. Our website is just the introduction to the spirit of our church. We want you to feel at home and comfortable here. We are pleased to welcome you as part of a growing and diverse Christian community.
